Its all about Thinking big
"Magic of Thinking Big" the book which changed my life. Just want to share with you some of my interesting incidents in my life. It was in year 1999-2000 when i realized I am in deep shit. Some time you will never know where are you heading. This was happening to me since 1996. I wanted to be an Electronics engineer but ended up doing Tool and Die making. Reason, I couldn't score well in my PUC. When I decided to join NTTF I was on the cloud nine because every one told me that I will be foreign country earning lots of money, the moment I finish. Things were not as I thought of. I remember during my days at NTTF one of junior asked me if I would get in to software in the future. My answer was "NO".
During 2000 I realized my life is not going in the direction which i want. Becoming desperate i joined Amway to earn lots of money. Ended up in a dept of Rs25K to my sister whom I kept lying why I need money. By the way Amway is not bad. The problem was in me.
I finished my Industrial training in August 2000. I had to take shelter at my sis place since I didn't have a job to support my self. I started my job hunting without wasting much time thinking that I will get some a good one. Three months of effort went in vain. I decided to go to Pune thinking there would be more opportunities there for a Mech guy. It was that conversation with my friend Nitin which made me to think about me. He asked me "where will you go if you don't find a job in Pune? will you go to the next city?" Often we feel grass on the other side is green. Then one day while I was walking on MG road. I saw the books on road side. I saw the book "Magic of Thinking Big". In Amway they recommend this book to read. I just picked it up paying Rs 60. I read it every day until I finished the book. It opened a new life for me. A new me was born who was quite serious about his life. Some body who stopped about day dreaming and started chasing the real dream of his life.
Today I am running a software start up in Bangalore. When I decided to move to IT most of the people said its not my cup of tea. But thanks to "Magic of Thinking Big" which made my dream in to reality.
I have a long way to go. I just stepped upon the first step of the ladder!
